Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

It is written in my divorce decree that I can not have a person of the opposit sex with whom I have an intimate or dating relationship in my home between 10:00pm and 8:00am; I however have done this on several occasions with a man I have been dating for 7 months; because we live sereral hours apart. What action could my ex husband take against me, and what are the consequesnces of not following the decree? My mother proceeded to tell my 6 year old that she would testify against me and that my two sons would have to go live with their dad because I did not follow the decree.

If you disobey a court order, you can be sued for contempt.

It is very unlikely that this kind of infraction would make a court want to do a complete change of custody. Your mother is a jerk.
