Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

If written notice was required by a certain date in Texas which was a Sunday and the party was notified by email on that date and the letter was post-marked the very next day. Was the party notified in accordance to the requirement?

Depends. In some legal situations if THE date falls on a weekend, then it rolls to the next day. In others, the rule says "within" which means that it would need to have been done by Friday (or Saturday).
