Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My x husband hasn't paid for our child insurance bills on over 4 years. I have insurance on her. He is supposed to pay 50%. I filed with the attorny general family court and we now have a court date. I got served with papers. Am I being sued? Do I need to get a lawyer? I really didn't want to pay 2000 to get 3000.

We need a lot more information.

What "papers" were you served with? Was it a pleading from the Attorney General? Was it something from he ex-husband's lawyer? What did it say? What do the "papers" ask for?
