Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have a one year old son. When he was born, his non-biological father (my boyfriend) signed the birth cirtificate because we decided to raise him as our own. Now the biological father is demanding to see his son, change his name, and fight for custody. Because he is not on the birth certificate and has paid no child support, do I have to let his biological father see my son?

You need to meet with an attorney face-to-face.

I am not accepting new contested cases right now. I highly recommend that you contact PATRICIA BUSHMAN at 713-807-4905. Talk to Jessica in her office. Please tell them that FRAN sent you.

Good luck!
