You are not old enough.
At 17 you can no longer be considered a 'runaway' or 'truant'. But you are still not old enough to sign an apartment lease, or make legal, binding decisions.
Also if your parents are divorced, there is probably a court order out there that governs where you live until you are 18 or graduate from high school.
What's wrong? Maybe you can be emancipated. Maybe an aunt or grandmother etc can step in and help resolve your living arrangements.
