Legal Question in Medical Leave in Texas

Fmla

I took 3 months fmla due to my husband's terminal cancer. My husband passed a month after my fmla was up. I was told that my position would be held and that I could take all the time I needed. They have not given me my position back as promised and said that I quit for personal reasons. Which is not the case, I tried to go back 2 weeks after his death. Do I have a case? Also I was turned down for unemployment and they stated I quit for personal reasons.
