Legal Question in Medical Leave in Texas
My husband had a stroke
He had a stroke & now his company that he has been with for 20 years wants him to take medical leave. What does this mean & how does it work? Will he still get paid? & how is insurance paid?

Under the FMLA your husband is entitled to 12 weeks of unpaid leave. At the end of the 12 weeks, and provided he is able to return to work, he should go right back into his position or if that position had to be filled for a legitimate business reason, into a comparable position with comparable pay and benefits. His benefits should continue.
