Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

I had $ 12000.00 in my brothers safe someone broke into his house opened the safe and took my cash his homeowners insurance is not going to cover it. do i have any recourse at all

You can sue your brother. However you must prove that he stored the money for you.
