Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
On 02/2011 2 senior citizens took their vehicle to get it refinanced by an auto dealer.
They were promised a low rate interest and they told them to sign the papers.
2 months later they received their first statement by the refinancing company
they were shocked to see their balance, it went from 10k to 18k. They returned
to the dealer to ask why, they were insulted pushed around and laughed at. They
call the police to report the incident, and now they are stuck with the contract. Can
anything be done against this bad dealers and null the contract?

If the dealership made false promises (which it appears it did) you may have a claim under the Texas Deceptive Trade and Practices Act.
