Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
Accident Liability
My college daughter just moved into a house with two roommates and they want a trampoline. But I am concerned about the risk of someone getting hurt on it. What is our liability if an accident should happen and how can we (the tenants, their parents, and their landlord) protect ourselves from a lawsuit? We have discussed a signed waiver from anyone wishing to use it, but I seriously doubt that the girls would be strict in having everyone sign it. Any other options?

Re: Accident Liability
You cannot fully protect yourselves. Convince them not to get the trampoline. I would think the landlord would insist on this.
