AirFare Recovery

My exgirlfriend and were going to take a trip together. I asked her via e-mail if she wanted me to buy the tickets. She said yes and I bought 2 non-refundable tickets. She cancelled 2 weeks later and I am trying to get her to reimburse me half the cost of her ticket. She claims it was a gift, which I disagree w/ since the word gift never was said. Do I ahve a case for small claims?

You have a case for Small Claims, but may have some difficulty in overcoming her claim of a gift. Do you have anything to show that each was going to pay their own way, or at least intended to do so? Go through you email discussing the trip, since that's where you might find material to support your claim.
