My daughters supervisor communicated to her that she had to be at work even though my daughter stated to her that due to inclement weather and icy conditions that she could not attempt to drive. The supervisor tole her regardless she had to be there. Her position was a bank teller.

My daughter slid off the road into a large concrete drainage and possibly totaled the car. Is the supervisor at the bank liable.

No. Unfortunately, being a complete ass is not illegal. Many times some supervisors think such an attitude is part of the job.
