Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

auto theft

i bought a vehicle from my boss. My boyfriend(at the time), my boss, my bosses husband and myself sat down together and the decision was to put just my name on the title because i was the one paying for it. In between myself taking the car to the title office it got stolen frm my exboyfriend. I know that in order for me to report it stolen my boss would have to write down that she sold me the car, well since my boss knows both of us because we were both employed by her she ''looks at us equaly'' and does not want to get involved. Basically i need to know what kind of legal action i can take on both parties if so.

report it to the police, I hope? and to your insurance company...then tell the truth..
