My parents are sending me to a boarding school and I have clearly refused. I am here now i cant talk on the phone, talk to my friends, and when i refuse to try in school I am grounded in my little room. Is there any way I can get out of here. Is there a law againist this. Re: Boarding School

I spent 6 years in boarding school at SSS in Austin. I didn't like it either but it was better than being at home. Presumably your parents sent you there because you were too difficult to handle at home or they didn't have time for their own child or you are from a tiny town without good schools. Either way, it is time for you to realize that you are going to have to make your own way in this world so you might as well start where you are. If you do well in school, you'll have a good future instead of living off of charity or a BS job. You'll also be in a better position to negotiate for the chance to go back home, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you alone are the reason you were sent away. If you grow up now, you'll be way ahead of the pack in college and what you do in school really does decide whether or not you will even have a chance to do really well as an adult; don't blow it because you're still too imature to realize that rebelling only hurts you.
