Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
I bought a car on Tuesday (3/15/11). Two days later the car lot took the car back because me and my wife don't work fir the same place we did when we first applied and were approved. If where we work is problem, they should have had all that re-verified before taking our down payment and signing a contract.
Now, two days later, they have our down payment and the car.
I don't even want the car now, just my 1000 dollar down payment back.
Is there any kind of lawsuit I could file to recover my down payment and would I be a case I could win?

YES. Sue them in justice court (the filing fee will be around $100). You'll need to find out who actually owns the business; check the assumed name records at your county clerk's office.
