Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Breech of contract

The real estate contract did not close due to divorce arguements. The seller(male) signed off. The female gave her lawyer a verbal agreement. Now she has decided that she is not in agreence. Therefore, I cannot recieve my check for repairs that are needed before I can move in. I am currently being charged i/r and the house payment is due shortly. I am unable to get the water turned on due to not having a signed copy of the deed of trust. Please let me know if I have legal grounds to stand on. Thank You.

Re: Breech of contract

You have legal grounds but pursuing it will be an expensive mess. If the wife signed the contract of sale you can force the issue. But if only the husband signed, you're pretty well stuck until the divorce goes through and the husband gets the house.
