Car Repos

I bought a car from a car lot after i got the car this car lot sold out and my contract was sold two diffent fiance companys but the last company messed my payments along with other ones .So the person who the old car lot took over the accounts with out me knowing it in this person repoed my car .So iask why she told me it wasnt anything i done they was doing it so they could close out the accounts .I WANTED TO KNOW if there are anything i can do about it. Thank You

If your payments were up to date and you had received no written notice form the creditor, what you describe is a violation of the state and federal fair debt collection practices act.
