Cell Phone Privacy through Employer

If an employee is allowed use of a cell phone and the employer calls to the numbers on the cell phone bill. Does this break any privacy law? If so be specific. Also,I wanted to find out what action could be taken if any.

No privacy laws have been broken, that I know of, since the employer is entitled to know whether the company cell phone has been used for business of personal use.
