Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
Child Visitation
I currently live in the State of Texas. I have primary custody of our 13 yr old Daughter. Our visitation schedule is currently where her Dad gets here every first, third, and fifth weekends. We are now having conflict with weekends and my childs sports and wanting to do other social activities with her friends that fall on her dads weekends. What are my options? Is my daughter old enough now to decide?

Re: Child Visitation
In order to modify visitation, a change in circumstance must exist. As such, you need to request from the court to modify your visitations if your ex is not willing to compromise. The fact that she is 13 does not mean that she will choose not to go to see her father, it only means that she can choose as to which parent should have primary residency, and you already have it.
