Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Collecting debt from ex roommate

I have an ex roommate, who has put me into over $4,000 of debt in the past 7 months, he has made an agreement with me 3 months ago to start paying it off. But he has dissapeared, and i can not find him anywhere. I have left numerous notes on his curret residence, to get in contact with me, but none of the notes were retured. now I am stuck paying and extra $400 a month on top of my current bills, I am a 21 year old waitress/student, I am struggling quite a bit. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to halp my situation.

About the only thing you can do, under the circumstance, is to sue him in Small Claims. However, collecting on any judgment against him would probably be a lost cause but you can never tell.
