Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Collection of finding by Small Claims Court

I purchased a camping trailor from Longhorn Sales and Leasing. They improperly installed an electric brake controller on my car which resulted in about $450 in damages. They authorized me to have the dealer service the damaged front axel (about $200) but after removing the axel, the dealer said it had to be replaced which I authorized. Longhorn refused to pay and I finally took them to small claims court.

The judge ordered Longhorn to pay me $330. Six months later they still haven't paid and the court says it has no authority to make Longhorn pay. I wish I had know that when they took my $67 filing fee.

What should I do now?

Thank you

Order a writ of execution and sale, and have the Constable serve the writ, seize and sell their property to satisfy the judgment. The writ should cost you $5 and the service of the writ another $60.
