Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Commissions Due from Travel Agency

We purchased a membership in a travel agency that their contract says they will pay commissions of 50% of what they receive within 30 days of request. I have commissions owed that were requested in October 2002 that they are now saying they are restructuring their company and they will not be paying until at the earliest May or June of 2003. That is they will pay when ''the travel industry turns around''. They have been paid by the hotels already. Can I sue them for the monies and what chance do I have to recover this money?

Re: Commissions Due from Travel Agency

Sure, you can sue them for the money they owe you.

There's no telling what your chances are of collecting, since they're obviously short of money. What were their finances when you bought into the agency?
