Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

My daughter had a disagreement with some old friends and it has turned into public harassment? We have had to call the law several times but nothing is done. What is her next step a restraining order ? And can she sue them in civil court for the things they are saying always in front of her children ?

I'm not sure about a restraining order. Your daughter may qualify for a protective order especially if there is a threat of violence.. See a local attorney. Anybody can sue in civil court. Winning is another matter. Again you would need to review the situation with an attorney. You should be able to find an attorney who will not charge for an initial consultation.
