Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

denied a female

My car was towed. I was able to retrieve it after dark. No females on the lot, however two in the office.

I did not want to walk onto the lot alone beause I did not feel safe (several men on the lot, not familiar with the section of town, dark). I asked if a female could walk onto the lot with me. Denied and treated overtly rude by the cashier.

I was obviously distruaght about the situation (crying).

Then asked to speak to her supervisor (male or female). Denied.

Asked for location of payphone and was instructed to go towards the "back of the lot".

Question: what can I do about being denied a female to walk with me onto the lot.

Re: denied a female

In Texas, absent physical injuries, no recovery exists for purely mentral trauma and emotional distress. If you had suffered some physical harm (which thank God, did not happen), then you might have recovered for their rude conduct. However, there is nothing illegal about being rude and discourteous.
