Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
My ex-girlfriend, who I haven't been with in more than a year, has posted all kinds of false information on the internet, saying that I am a rapist, that I have STDs, including AIDS (I have had tests run, and do not have any diseases), that I am a pedophile, that I wrecked her car, that I'm a drug dealer/addict, etc. She has posted where I live and what kind of car I drive. She has even posted my minor daughter's information online. I'm in construction, she called all the places in town to give them false info so that I couldn't get hired. She kept sending harassing texts until I changed my number. She has an IT person who is somehow tracking me, and every time I'm in town she follows me. She has said online that she will keep posting stuff for three years. I have reported it to the local police, they won't do anything. What can I do?

First thing you want to do is hire a lawyer to evaluate what claims you already have and send a demand letter to make her stop any further action.
