Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
A fairly new member of our church who was handling our finances (making deposits, balancing the books, etc.) decided abruptly she didn't want the job. We have made repeated attempts by phone and email to recover the church's property however, she refuses to make any effort to return phone calls, return the property or make arrangements to return the property. What can we do legally?

What "property" does she have?
If she took something that isn't hers, the church can sue her for conversion.
