Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
False Allegations
A vendor contacted my supervisor and made false claims of accepting his cash gifts in exchange for our business. This cost me my job because my employer chose to believe the vendor. Can I subpoena this vendor's phone and evidence records in order to fight these allegations in court?

Generally speaking, the answer is "Yes" provided that a suit has been filed. I am puzzled by one comment made by you. If the salesman has admitted that he has committed committed a felony (commercial bribery), whey would he be considered worthy of belief by your employer? If he already has been convicted, it might be another matter.
