Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Federal Law

I'm am being sued in Federal court for copywrite infringment, giving trade secrets to other companies. I was an independent contractor without a non compete or any other written agreement. I do not have the money to even hire an attorney. The person and or company sueing me is just being vendictive and they have a lot of money. What can be done so they do not get a default judgment? They were not hurt in any way.

Thanks

Re: Federal Law

A written answer denying the compliant is required to avoid a default judgment. Note that the paragraphs of the complaint are numbered. You have to respond to each paragraph admitting it, denying it, admitting in part and denying in part (be specific about which statement you're denying and why), or can neither admit nor deny because (and give the reason).

That will stop the default.
