Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
My fiance and i are spliting up, we have one vehicle that is titled in both names, we do have a loan on this vehicle and i am currently making the payments. What are the laws regarding me having ownership of the vehicle? And is there anything he can do to take the vehicle away?
Thanks!

AS long as his name is on the title, his rights are as good as yours. He can't take it away because your name is on it, also. If you want the vehicle, you need to try to get him to sign it over to you via a transfer of title which your county tax assessor may be able to help you with. Right now, you both own it and have equal rights based on what you told me.
