Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
fired employee
Had to fire a man after buying him a new truck. He put it in his name but I gave him a company check to pay for it. He refuses to give it back. What do I need to do to get posession?

Re: fired employee
Based on what you have stated and without more specific facts, there is the possibility that you may not be able to get the truck back. This is because a court may deem the truck as a "gift." The alternative would be to retain an attorney to show that truck was part of employment.
