Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

General Denial???

My husband has been sued for a repossession. He cosigned for my son in 2005. They want a written answer. Is a General Denial correct? We know the money is owed, our son just did not handle it properly.

Re: General Denial???

If they filed a suit on sworn account, you need to do a verified denial.

Re: General Denial???

It depends on the kind of suit that was filed against him. Sometimes, a verified denial is required. Please don't do this yourself.
