gun laws

After divorce Mother-in-law wants gun back that was given as gift. Gun is regestered in her name. Do I have to give it back.

The gun is a gift, so you don't have to give it back. There's no title for a firearm. Any registration only shows that she bought it, and nothing else. It's not a title of ownership.
