hit parked truck in parking lot

my question is do i have to pay this guy anything? what happened is I was parking at work in the parking lot and hit this guys truck. very little damage was done. I went inside and looked for the guy, told him what had happened. I told him that I would give him some money. he said that was fine. no police report was made and now he keeps harrassing me at work about the money I have paid him $100 dollars but now he says he wants $450 do I have to pay him legally.

You are liable for repairing the damage. Ask to see receipts for what's been done, and if it has to do with the damage, that's for you. But if it isn't associated with the damage, or if there's no receipt, then he has no claim on you over what you've paid.
