Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Judgement filed on credit report

civil judgement for 5,000 due to non payment of rent has been posted to our credit report. Judgement does not belong to us. Have filed dispute with credit reporting agencies to no avail. Have copies of filings & judgement. Our name & defendents name: No match. The only close match is the property addresses first 4 digits match our business addy first four digits. Address name not the same. Dist. clerk suggests I locate plaintiff and get release of lien. I say the problem lays with the county clerks office data processors for entering info incorrectly. Of course they'll never admit to that. What would you suggest? Thank you

Re: Judgement filed on credit report

File suit for credit defamation against the credit reporting agency and the plaintiff (they hired the agency). You will have to prove your damages.
