Who is the one that first got the law suit going?
When two people filed a law suit against a third party and both of theirs names appeared on the suit. Is it the first person named the one that the law suit up and they got the other person to go along with it.

The order of plaintiffs' names does not necessarily indicate who first got the matter started.
If A & B sue C, then it could be A & B v. C, or B & A v. C, or A, et al v. C, or B et al v. C.
If A sues C, and then B gets brought in by A, the style would remain A v. C because that was what was originally filed.
