Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
I am getting letters from my HomeOwner Association on fasle allegations. The last letter stated I was running a dog kennel and a commercial business out of my house?? For one The dog kennel thing is because I have two dogs. They bark on occasion but are inside most of the time. I had recieve a letter last month stating my dogs were loose. My wife is a stay at home mom and I have a hot wire around the lower part of my fence. My dogs were never loose. Also in this last letter it states I am running a commercial business cause I have a commercial company truck I drive to and from work everyday. I have called after the second letter, stating were my dogs are and are not outside all day. Each letter has changed stories each time. I am curious on were I stand or what I can do about this?

If you get a letter, you should respond in writing, not by telephone.
The dispute between you and the HOA is going to be governed by the HOA rules; ask the HOA for a copy.
