Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Liability for College Student Dependent Damages

If my 21 year old son is still my dependent (I pay college expenses and claim him on my taxes) can I be held liable for damages he causes in a car accident even if he is the only registered owner of the vehicle and has his own insurance?
