Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

My live in boyfriend of almost four years has had an affair. This girl has a very private argument between my boyfriend and I recorded on her cell phone voicemail and is letting everyone she knows listen to it. Is there anything that I can do to stop this?

Send her a certified and an uncertified letter advising her that if she does not stop making that recording public, you are going to sue her for invasion of privacy and you are going to report her to the police for the same thing (I am not sure the police would even listen to you, but this is just for the letter.) Tell her also that she has no permission to make that recording public and you demand she destroy it immediately.
