Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
I live in Texas, and feel certain I am going to have a judgment against me very soon, it is unavoidable at this time.
My question is, once the judgement has been granted, can they take money out of my checking account? I need that money for House payments, insurance, medications, food, utilities, etc., should I close the account before the court date?

Yes, a plaintiff in judgment CAN garnish your bank account if he knows where you bank.
If I were you, I'd change banks every six months or so.
