Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

I live in TEXAS, and recently gave my notice. The company I am working at is asking that I pay back my tuition reimbusement, since the policy says I need to be here for 12 months after it is paid out. I was paid out the first week of June 2011, and I gave my notice, on May 4th 2012. I count the months though, from June-May there are 12 months. Legally how do you count "12 months from reimbursement" in the calendar? They already refused to pay my accrued vacation time. Thank you.

If your company documents don't define how you count 12 months, I believe 12 months is a year which is 365 or 366 days. Hence you'd have to continue working until the day in the first week in June when the money was paid out.
