Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
loose livestock
Numerous times the cows belonging to our next door neighbor have gotten out of their fences and damaged our yard.
We have continually talked to the neighbors and repeatedly been reassured something will be done. They ''patch'' the fence and again before too long the cows are loose again.
Enough is enough. Talking isn't working.

Re: loose livestock
I suggest you first ask for reimbursement for the damage to your yard. If they pay that, then they may realize that they need to pay to fix the fence. If they don't pay, then you should have an attorney contact them with a demand for payment. If that doesn't work, then you may want to go to small claims court for the damages or seek an injuction ordering them to take action to keep the cows off and damages under tort claims.
