Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
So, my mother called the cops on me to get my car (its in her name) back to her, but the cop told us that it will be mine if i start making payments on it and show proof. is there any way that i can just get the title in my name since now i am the sole payer of the car even though its in her name?

If a lender has a lien on the title, transfer of title depends upon agreement by the lienholder. IMHO you cannot get title in your name unless you pay off the lien..and your mother knows that if payments are not made, it goes on her credit....
