Neighbor damage claim

my neighbor has hired a lawyer to pursue a claim for damages to her house. she claims tree roots from a tree in my yard caused her sewer pipes to crack resulting in a backup in her house. this ,she claims caused mold in her house and made her family ill.

if it is verified that my tree roots invaded her pipes,do i have liaibility?

Maybe. Most importantly, your liability, if any, may be covered by your homeowner's insurance. Contact your carrier immediately and ask them to defend this claim.
