Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

pet adoption

I adopted a pet that was in foster care for a month. A person who says he's the owner of the dog wants him back. He has no proof whatsoever that it's his and he's threatening a lawsuit against myself and the pet adoption organization. Does he have ground?

perhaps but is this a matter for courts??can't people realize pets may be happy with either unless other is abuser..
