Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
physically and verbal abuse at work
Husband's boss grabbed him by the shirt and forced him towards him and used threatening profanity and pushed him away and threatened his job. I dont know what to do cause he needs his job right now and we don't agree with the actions taking place towards my husband.

Re: physically and verbal abuse at work
The boss assaulted your husband. That is a criminal offense. However, your husband's job would likely be in jeopardy for reporting this criminal conduct. The boss would likely get off with probation (or maybe less) and a small fine (if any). Then he would come back to the plant and fire your husband. There is no legal protection for this type of termination. Better start looking for a new job.
