Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
Are policemen able to give you a fine of $200.00 for entering through an "emergency exit"? There was nothing documented on the door that stated there will be an issue of a $200.00 fine upon entering or exiting the door, which was wide open by the way. It is was a door to get into my dorm room building.

Fight this silly ticket. Go to the court and demand a jury trial.
