pretrail conference

I have an class ''C'' asualt charge pending against me. It was an accident with no witness. I have a pretrail conference set for a couple of weeks and I want to know what to do to pela my case to were it will get dismissed. The incident was I accidently step on a persons foot. no damage occured to his foot. The thing is I apologized for the accident. He filed charges against me. Is there a way to get this dismissed and not waste the tax payers time and money

You can ask the judge and see what he says. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.
