Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
I am the previos owner of a retail store. Due to financial constraints, my business was forced to close. I was sued by former customer because she wanted a refund for an order she had placed prior to my business. When she sued me, my company was already closed. She won the judgement by a default because I did not make a court appearance. Now that she has won the judgment. She has found my personal information and information to my family and is making repeated calls day and night to us. I am wondering if the is anything legally I can do to stop this harrassment? Please help. Thank you.
