Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Property owned by me and my ex-need to get off title

I have been divorced for 6 years now and my name is still on the house title that me and my ex-husband own in Texas. I live in Florida now and need my name off the title of the house. Neither of us live in it. Can I make him sell the house for the back child support he owes? Or can I do something to just get my name off the title, so it wont't show up as one of my assets? Thank you.

If the property is not homestead, it could possibly be seized and sold for delinquent child support. Whether you could get any money would depend on any mortgages outstanding on the property. Otherwise, you could sign a quit claim deed to your X.
