Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Real estate

6 years ago I went to the neighbors about fixing a damaged fence on the property line, their fence, told at that time no money, no help. I moved 6 inches inside my property line, and built a new fence. I am gone for extended periods of time from home, I came home, found they tore the old rotten fence down, and tied onto my fence with out asking permisson. I want them to remove everything from my fence and property. Can I do this??

Re: Real estate

Certainly. Sounds like they are trespassing on your property. Do you have a survey for the fence line? If so, you can sue for damages for trespass and obtain an order from the Court to make them take down the "tie-on". Good Luck.
